NAPA brings its popular warm-mix asphalt and recycling conferences to the West Coast – and puts them together for you!
NAPA’s Warm-Mix Asphalt & Recycling Symposium will be held June 8-10 in Sacramento, California at the Hyatt Regency.
The conference kicks off at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 8 with a focus on asphalt supply, aggregate supply, and RAP (reclaimed asphalt pavement). The concentration on recycling and energy will continue for the entire day on Tuesday. Among the topics to be covered are reducing transportation fuel costs, recycling materials other than RAP, shingle recycling, building Perpetual Pavements using a rubblized concrete base, emission reduction, plant operations, and both FHWA and state perspectives on the use of RAP.
On Wednesday, June 10, the entire day will be devoted to warm-mix asphalt. Presentations will cover best practices at the plant and paving site, results of field trials, accelerated performance testing, energy conservation, emissions reductions, and plant operations. Perspectives from contractors, state DOTs, FHWA, and the U.S. EPA will be included. The conference will wrap up at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The registration fee covers a reception Monday evening, continental breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday, and lunch both days.
